Chaosera Heracles 80 Hotswap PCB

Hot on the heels of the success story that is the Pancake Kit comes the Pancake 2. Now with integrated controller, hidden diodes, double the amount of pancakes and OLED display! Pancake 2 is an ultra low profile keyboard, no bottom plate needed. As a result of making this board as low profile as possible, bluetooth had to be foregone, which also eliminated the need for a battery.
The layout differs slightly from the original in that the center two columns have moved apart to make room for the OLED display. The bottom row has two 1.5U keys in the middle.
The kit consists of one PCB, silicone feet and your choice of OLED in either white or blue. Some soldering is required (switches* and OLED). Requires Kailh Choc low profile switches -> get some!!

*** NEW HOTSWAP VERSION - BOARDWALK PROFESSIONAL 2 ***
The Boardwalk Professional 2 is the same Boardwalk you've come to know and love, but now has Kailh MX Hotswap Sockets. It has a much more limited layout, allowing for Ortholinear only (all 1u center keys, no 65% style) and 2 options for space bar - 2x2u or 7u. These limitations are due to the nature of hotswap sockets being so large.
The Boardwalk is a 60% ortholinear keyboard, designed around Ergodox keycap sets and to fit into standard 60% cases. The project was inspired by OLKB’s Atomic keyboard, which used larger 2u mods, making it easier to hit the modifiers/outside keys. 2u caps are hard to source, and outright impossible if you want to use sculpted sets, so the move was made to 1.5u keys from Ergodox sets. The rest of the board is can be filled using standard key sizes from 60% sets. 
The board supports two primary types of layouts, a true ortholinear grid using only 1u, 1.5u, 2u, and 7u keycaps, and an unorthodox “arrow” layout, using 1.25u keycaps in the bottom row to allow an arrow cluster in the bottom right corner. The PCB and plate are universal and will support both types of layouts, although there’s MANY options for the bottom row.
Here at MKUltra we believe the Boardwalk may be the finest PCB ever developed. It allows for a gradual escape from brainwashing through a transition from that horrible staggered to 65%, then ortho, then ergo.

WT60-C PCB by wilba.tech is compatible with most 60% cases that support a USB-C connector on the PCB. It has tray case mount holes for cases such as Mekanisk Fjell, Mekanisk Klippe, KBDfans Tofu, and other similar cases based around the legacy Poker2 form factor. It can also fit in cases where the PCB is mounted via the switches to the plate, and the plate is attached to the case, and also cases made from laser cut acrylic. WT60-C PCB has pre-assembled, RGB LED mounted below the PCB which shine upward through the switches, and do not require switches with special cutouts in the bottom housing. They work best with clear housing switches such as Everglide, Kailh and Gateron Inks, but can also work with semi-translucent/milky housings and even NovelKeys Cream switches. There are also RGB LEDs under the spacebar stabilizers, to add extra lighting if using transparent stabilizers. WT60-C PCB supports the most popular layout options of custom keyboard enthusiasts. The bottom row is fixed, with 7U spacebar, 1.5U modifiers, thus supporting cases with HHKB and Winkeyless blockers. The right shift is always split (like HHKB), providing a very ergonomic Fn key. The only layout options are full/split backspace and full/stepped Caps Lock. WT60-C PCB is compatible with the Unified Daughterboard standard, via the JST connector footprint on the PCB (requires soldering JST connector, sold separately), and thus may be compatible with cases that use the Unified Daughterboard and PCBs with the JST connector in the same position (wilba.tech Thermal, Keycult No.1/60, Mekanisk Klippe S). FAQ:Q: How do I change layouts?A: The PCB has VIA compatible firmware already installed. Install VIA application from here: https://caniusevia.com/Q: Will this PCB fit in Thermal?A: Yes, with some modifications (solder JST connector). Thermal case has clearance for the USB-C so it does not need desoldering. It is fully compatible with the Thermal plate.Q: Will this PCB fit in Polaris?A: No, Polaris requires a 1.2mm thick PCB and this PCB is 1.6mm.
